Dog Portrait Gallery and Session Info

Portrait sessions at my home studio are designed to be stress free and fun for your dog, and include plenty of treats!

Pre-Shoot Consultation

This can be done over the phone or by visiting my studio to discuss how you would like your artwork to look and be created. I show you the different styling and set options, as well as my range of frames and paper options for your dogs portrait. I will discuss where you want to hang it and the size and shape of the image in order to customize the shoot and achieve the perfect piece for your home. I can design multiple images in one frame, and even blend 2 images of different dogs side by side so they both look perfect. I have a range of accessories you may like to incorporate such as bandanas, decorative collars, and jewelled crowns for the real princesses - these are photoshopped in so no need to try and balance on your dogs head!  If there are people you would like photographed with your dog we can also discuss styling, and its wonderful if you can bring your dog to meet me and become familiar with the studio.

Session Cost $300 which becomes a credit towards your artwork.

Dogs come in all shapes, sizes and personalities and some are more comfortable having a photoshoot than others. This is why your session becomes complimentary with your artwork credit, and is backed by my Satisfaction Guarantee. If for any reason the shoot doesn't result in images that you love and wish to purchase, your session cost will be refunded or a second shoot booked. My job is to produce gorgeous images of your precious pup and you only buy what you love!

At Your Session

On arrival we let your dog have a good look around and become settled before starting the shoot. You are welcome to bring your own treats as well as the cheese and hotdogs I have on offer. I often ask owners to assist with positioning of their dog, and I have a range of methods such as noisy toys to get their attention. Depending on your dogs personality we may shoot anywhere from 15-45 mins. I try to keep it to a minimum if a dog shows any signs of anxiety so the pre-planning is most important for this. Afterwards we have beautiful Malvern Park at the end of my street so you can take them for a nice run around.

The Viewing Session

This is the exciting part! 1-2 weeks after your shoot you get to see your images and we discuss your favourites and how we can create the ideal artwork. I have photoshop all ready to demonstrate how I can change colour tones, composition, and group images together. This is when your order is confirmed so please feel free to have all the decision makers at the viewing session. Payment is taken then your order is custom printed and framed for collection within 3 weeks.
